Stay on top of activity on your profile — likes, follows, submissions, and more.
How Notifications Work
The notification bell (🔔) in the top navigation bar shows a live count of unread notifications. Click it to open the notification panel and see all recent activity on your account.
What Triggers a Notification
New Like
Someone liked your author profile or one of your books.
New Follower
A reader or author started following you.
Talk Application Approved
Your Authority Talk application was approved — our team will contact you to confirm scheduling.
Talk Application Update
Your Authority Talk application was not approved this cycle. You may reapply for a future slot.
Podcast Application Approved
Your podcast submission or guest application was approved.
Podcast Application Update
Your podcast application was reviewed and was not approved at this time.
Managing Notification Preferences
You can choose which types of notifications you receive from your Dashboard Settings:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Click Settings in the left sidebar
- Scroll to Notification Preferences
- Toggle on or off each notification type (likes, followers, submissions)
- Changes save automatically
Clearing Notifications
Notifications are automatically marked as read when you open the notification panel. The unread count badge on the bell icon will clear once you view your notifications.
